Where to get your COVID-19 Vaccine

You can get vaccinations from a range of immunisation providers including the following:
- your doctor
- local council or community health clinic
- Aboriginal Medical Services
- school-based immunisation programs
- some workplaces
- some hospitals
- travel medicine clinics
- staff occupational health clinics
- aged care facilities
- select pharmacies – for people aged 10 years and above for influenza vaccination, 16 years and above for specific vaccinations

Where to get the free flu vaccine
For those people who are eligible to receive free flu vaccines under the National Immunisation Program, you will be able to receive your flu vaccine from:
- Doctors
- Community health clinics
- Aboriginal Medical Services
- Other immunisation providers (like those listed above)
The vaccines are free, but some providers may charge a consultation fee.
For other individuals, you can visit your doctor, council community immunisation clinic or pharmacy to pay for a flu vaccine. Pharmacists are able to give the flu vaccine to anyone aged 10 years and above.
Local Council immunisation clinics
Some local city councils provide free vaccinations at community immunisation clinics to eligible residents. Some clinics may have the vaccine available for purchase. Check with your local council for details. You do not need to book an appointment for a Council clinic, but you should bring your immunisation records and/or your child’s red book.
